Privacy & listing standards

MTN Guide is operated by Philip de-Beger. Guides set their own terms. Confirm dates, pricing, qualifications, insurance and suitability directly with the provider. Directory picks cite the provider page. For these picks, technical and fitness categories summarise the provider’s description where available.

Guide-submitted profiles and updates are moderated. A checked qualification badge means supporting evidence for the listed qualification was checked at publication. Reviewers must use an email-verified account, attest to taking part and provide a trip reference for moderation. Both positive and critical reviews can be published.

MTN Guide uses your sign-in identifier and account email to manage submissions, prevent abuse and follow up about listings, reviews or reports. Your sign-in email, evidence, trip references and reports are private to moderation. Approved profile information, review text, rating, display name and trip month are public. Keep payment information, ID numbers and third-party personal data out of submissions.

Guide Studio lets you withdraw a listing. To request correction or deletion of personal data, or appeal a decision, email philip.debeger@btopenworld.com. Optional Google Analytics runs only with permission. Update your preference using Analytics choices in the footer.
