Yellowstone Guidelines, LLC has been providing guided adventures in the Yellowstone area for over 20 years. We are one of the few companies and original permit permit holders authorized by the National Park Service to guide in Yellowstone!

Chris Hondorf has been guiding in the greater Yellowstone Area for seven years. After getting a Bachelor of Science from Syracuse University and SUNY Environmental Science and Forestry, he ventured to the wilds of southwest Montana. Now he shares his passion for the outdoors and nature with others. Chris lives with his wife Annie, a Montana native, and daughter, Nola. Chris is a Wilderness First Responder (WFR), lead guide, and owner of Yellowstone Guidelines. He is also a Certified Interpretive Guide (CIG) through the National Association of Interpreters, Leave No Trace Trainer (LNT), and certified naturalist from the Yellowstone Association.

Discounted Spring Tours and Treks in Yellowstone

Spring is a great time to visit Yellowstone. Snow fills the mountains, green grass replenishes the landscape, the crowds are small, and the newest members of the Yellowstone ecosystem are being born.

    Chris was such a great and knowledgable guide! We had the best trip to Yellowstone. Being in the backcountry was the best way to experience the park. I would recommend Yellowstone Guidelines to anyone who is looking for a unique Yellowstone experience!
